(Also read dog bites when cutting nails).įor this, you can simply paste sandpaper on a wooden block and let your dog rub his nails against the sandpaper. Many dogs get aggressive while cutting nails so using grit sandpaper is a good idea to trim their nails. You can introduce this as a fun activity to your dog. This can damage their skin causing injury and infections (Read diabetic dog skin problems) How to sand dog nails? Now sandpaper mats are also available in the market but we think they are not safe as dogs will rub their paws too while walking on them. We prefer wooden scratchboard because it is strong enough to be durable and is safe as there is no risk of sharp edges like metal. Take a sandpaper sheet and paste it on a wooden block. As we have already mentioned most dog owners prefer 80 grit sandpaper. The best grit for a dog is the one that perfectly matches its nail requirements. What grit to use on dog nails depends on the size of the dog and how routinely your dog use grit sandpaper to file nails. Best sandpaper grit for dog nailsĪlmost all the dogs are comfortable rubbing their nails against 30-40 grit sandpaper. In younger dogs, it’s best to introduce them to 80 grit than slowly move towards lighter grit paper. For dogs, you use between 40-100 grit sandpaper. So it’s important to understand which grit sandpaper is best for your dog.

![]() ![]() Let's just say they are getting some good feedback on what went wrong with this release communication. You're right that I'm not a developer, but thankfully I know who those people are so I can forward this stuff to them directly. ![]() It is pretty bad and makes us look incompetent when we only know about the WebShield being turned on, and the extensions installed, through the end-users. This is like Microsoft turning on the Clutter feature in O365 and then us getting a flood of calls from end-users asking where their emails went. But I agree with what Jon is saying.Ĭommunication or not (in which case there was not much of it) they should of left the web shield off by default. ![]() Not trying to make this into a rant thread - hence why I toned it down when I created this topic. I am still waiting for remediation steps from Webroot to remove the extensions, but it's pretty darn hard when Webroot refuses to acknowledge that the extensions should not have been installed for customers who had the Web Threat Shield set to OFF in the first place. My recommendation is to have Webroot push out an update that checks for this setting, and, if OFF, removes all extensions, if they are installed. I strongly suggest that instead of deflecting bug reports and legitimate issues by championing new features that you instead attempt to provide solutions and not be afraid to acknowledge mistakes. If you're offering the option to not use the extensions, have some respect for your customer's decisions instead of treating us like children who don't know what we're doing. However, please do not patronize your customers by telling us what's good for us or what we want when you have no idea what our environment is like. I get that Webroot's Web Threat Shield has undergone some major improvements and has some nice new features. It has been further aggravating that tech support went on to try to convince me of the merits of using the Web Threat Shield instead of addressing my issue on how to resolve the extension issue. The notion that software can periodically behave however it wants regardless of established administrator policies is extremely thoughtless and totally inappropriate for an enterprise environment. I don't understand why Webroot cannot own up to its mistake and instead tries to say that its software can do whatever it wants. I suggested to tech support that this was a bug, but they defensively responded that instead Webroot does not necessarily need to respect the settings we have explicitly set (such as, Web Threat Shield = OFF). The Web Threat Shield has ALWAYS been disabled in our environment, which should have prevented any aspect of the Web Threat Shield from being installed and activated in the first place. This has generated issues for us in the way of increased tech support tickets as well as a few other issues. Now with the latest update, Webroot decided to clandestinely install browser extensions on multiple browsers across our network without any permission or notification to IT admins whatsoever, totally disregarding that we have always had the Web Threat Shield completely disabled. We have explicitly disabled the Web Threat Shield because it was causing major issues in the past. Could you perhaps forward this to someone who can read my rant and make a difference? Thank you kindly! I know you're the representative and not a developer, and thus know my frustration is not directed at you. Know that the team is aware and we're working on a solution as I type to make sure this doesn't happen again. As someone pointed out before, we did post on the community (as always) but unless you were subscribed to the thread, it looks like you didn't get a notification about the release. We had a discussion internally about how this update didn't get communicated via email. Hey everyone - Sorry about the lack of communication on this one. ![]() ![]() You can convert HEVC videos to MP4, H.264, MOV, AVI, MKV, iPhone, Android, TVs, YouTube, etc.

![]() However, in light of the width measurements in your materials, we have calculated the maximum permissible scaffold height for use without restraints. īased on the information you provided, we were unable to calculate the scaffold's total height. a free standing scaffold shall be considered safe when the total height is equal to or less than four times the minimum or least base dimension. OSHA continues to use the relationship between total height and least base dimension to calculate height-to-base width ratio. In 1983, OSHA explained that, for the purposes of the scaffold height-to-base width ratio, the Agency uses the "total height" in relationship to the smaller base dimension. (1) Supported scaffolds with a height to base width ( including outrigger supports, if used) ratio of more than four to one shall be restrained from tipping by guying, tying, bracing, or equivalent means. Section 1926.451(c)(1) states: Criteria for supported scaffolds. However, where appropriate, we try to give some guidance to employers to help them assess whether products are appropriate to use and provide OSHA-required protection. In addition, the variable working conditions at jobsites and possible alterations or misapplications of an otherwise safe product could easily create a hazardous condition beyond the control of the manufacturer. Horror, regarded as a ‘low genre’, was not considered worthy of critical exploration in France until the 21 st century. Out of these films that combine elements of horror and pornography, a strand of horror blossomed to become a new wave in French filmmaking in and of itself. However, more than simply creating bodily responses in spectators, the directors of these films are also concerned with intellectual provocation as they attack the foundational principles of the French Republic and force the spectator into confrontation with their own prejudices and belief systems. There is no doubt that the spectator is provoked: accounts of people feeling nauseated and leaving the theatre to vomit have been recorded at the screenings of films such as Irreversible (2002, Gaspar Noé) and In My Skin (2002, Marina de Van). There have been ongoing debates as to whether they actually say something or if they simply aim to provoke the spectator. They are films that are challenging to watch, often pairing graphic sexuality and brutal violence, incorporating imagery traditionally belonging to horror and pornography cinemas. UPDATE: For a simpler option with no moving parts, I can recommend the Micca Speck Ultra Portable Digital Media Player.Since the beginning of the 21 st century, there has been a proliferation of a certain kind of film in contemporary French cinema. They successfully stayed in sync for at least 8+ hours. The dvd's are programmed to automatically loop. ![]() By using a remote control I am able to turn on all three dvd players at the same time so they are synced. Then I used three dvd players of the same manufacturer and model, one running to each mirror/video display. Then created DVD's in DVD Studio Pro that automatically start playing when the dvd player powers on. To create the effect that the face moves from frame to frame and never is in two places at the same time, I created three separate video tracks, one for each frame. I recommend an LED-based UV/blacklight, as they are vastly brighter- though they do give off more visible spectrum purple glow. In person, the effect is brighter than it appears in the attached video, but rather the way it does in the included photos. Both the fluorescent frame and the face glow at the same level of brightness. This subtle detail makes the effect more mysterious and avoids simply looking like a "tv behind a mirror". Because the LCD display gives off an illuminated image, and face appears to be reacting to black light, the whole display gives the impression to be glowing exclusively from ultraviolet light. reactive white looks blueish under UV light, so I gave the image a tint that matched that same hue of blue. Then, an important step was to alter the color to look as though the face was lit with ultraviolet (black) light and was U.V. The video was then edited in Final Cut Pro to enhance the contrast of the face and the black background. Because the LCD displays are mounted on their side, the camera was also on it's side to record the footage without losing resolution. His face had white makeup on it, but I'm not certain that was entirely necessary because of my post image processing. This was all done in front of a black backdrop. I lit his face from below to enhance the ghoulish quality of the image. I wanted it to look like a floating face, not a whole head. I recorded my friend's face with a black t-shirt pulled over his head to expose just the very front of his face. ![]() There is roughly 1/2" of space behind the mirror before the video display which helps to add a little depth, enhancing the illusion. It works very well at hiding the display and also visually anchors the mirror to the wall. I used a heat bender to raise the framework just enough to accommodate the LCD panel. I designed an ornate black frame inspired by wrought iron filagree, which was cnc-cut from black Sintra, a pvc sheet product. For future installations, I wanted to be able to use the frames where I would have the LCD display surface mounted, taking up space and raising the frame from the wall. My original installation enabled me to place the LCD panels behind faux walls with oval cut-outs, mounting the frames flush to these wall panels. Alternatively, you may try to use a 2-way mirror film to apply to the included plastic. You can obtain a professionally cut-to-fit 2-way mirror from me, or elsewhere and use the provided mirror or clear frame plastic as a measuring guide to carefully cut with an appropriate saw/router/laser cutter. You can choose to leave the frame black or paint it another color. I painted fluorescent green for this display, which has an important technical reason for my vignette, which I'll mention later. ![]() ![]() The Pathfinder is a good car, but not great and the lack of thought in design/innovation is apparent and if Nissan wants to be taken seriously in this segment against Toyota, Hyundai and Kia they have to think more carefully about the driver, which is a shame considering greats cars like the Skyline and 350z came from the same stable. The handle to lift up the under floor compartment in the boot has broken and we've discovered the clear coat on the front bumper is bubbling, on a brand new car!!!! The Bose audio is awesome and the Bluetooth setup easy to configure, however our old Jeep and the Kluger had station recognition and the current song playing on that station but the Pathfinder has nothing like this, it's just the small things. Also, the left mirror auto dips when reversing, but doesn't return to its former position, fixing the mirrors everytime after reversing is a joke, which we still have to check on whether this is a fault or a factory expectation. Also there is no voice recognition for dialling on the phone ir responding to an SMS via Bluetooth and you end up having to use the phone or the onscreen dialpad/phonebook which is hugely unsafe, again just not good enough when our Jeep had this feature for $10k less. ![]() When we are stumping up $65k for a car there are some basic features we would expect, especially after looking at the Kluger which we didn't bother to check, but didn't feel we needed to!! For instance, this top of the range vehicle has no auto/speed controlled/rain sensing wipers which is ridiculous when my 6 year old Renault Clio does and our previous Jeep. Overall we've been happy with the Pathfinder with the key attractions being the Hybrid drivetrain to save fuel (averages 10l per 100kms), the hugely flexible 7 seat layout, and the entertainment system for the kids on long trips. We bought our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Ti Hybrid 4x4 after selling our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee which we owned for two years and needed a 7 seater and evaluated the Toyota Kluger and the Pathfinder. We love the warning systems I can now check my tyres whilst the vehicle is active and for a female that may or may not drive her previous vehicles with little or too much air this is a great feature for me lolĮngine wise - it does the drive effortless, is super quiet and makes driving a dream - check the website for the technical guff! We love the sleek look of the current shape and although it is markedly bigger than the murano it is so easy to manoeuvre through traffic, drives effortlessly up hills and looks sexy!Īlthough we have only had the vehicle for 2 weeks and are still learning of new features something we do love is the ability to control the climate in all 3 zones of the vehicle and because our teen and tween daughters rarely agree they now have to find something else to fight about - which is who gets to charge their phone! Probably the only downside so far is the fact the vehicle has only 1 USB port - several cigarette type charging points but that's just another accessory we need to have in the car We have daughters that dance so are always on the road (fuel efficiency) and they have so much stuff!!! (Big boot space) We test drove several other competitor vehicles but it was the fuel efficiency and the size of the boot that drew us to the pathfinder. It’s clear that Nissan knows its audience and how this vehicle will primarily be used.Having been a Nissan family owning a pulsar, X trail and our last car being a murano it was difficult entering the market looking for something that could compare. The third row seating area, for example, has both dedicated ceiling vents and cup holders, even though the seats themselves are not quite big enough to accommodate full-size adults in comfort.īut we love how the second row pivots forward with a simple touch of a button we note the inclusion a USB-A, USB-C and domestic power socket in the second row and we were quick to appreciate the neat integrated rear sun blinds. ![]() ![]() The attention to detail is also commendable.
